Hello beauties. So do you guys ever wish you could be someone else for a day?? A famous singer, millionaire, professional chef, model? In my case it would be either Yulia Zagoruychenko (Latin World Champion) or a 60’s movie star like Audrey Hepburn. We all sometimes wish we could be anyone but ourselves. But here’s the thing guys, we all have just as much potential as anyone else to achieve great things, we just have to WORK for it. The majority of these people we look up to did not just have these successes handed to them. They refused to give up and pushed through the hard times. So instead of striving to be like other people, why not strive to be the best version of ourselves?

I’m working every day to become the best version of myself. I think that it’s an ongoing process that we work at constantly, there’s no end point and then we just quit and settle. I started becoming a better version of myself when I started dancing. My health began to improve, I had more confidence, and I had something to be passionate about. The first thing I would recommend doing when you decide “I’m ready to start achieving my goals and dreams” is to decide what those goals and dreams are. Whether it’s to take on a new hobby or career, or simply lose weight and become healthier. Whatever it is, you have form a plan.

If you are pretty much where you want to be in life according to occupation and such, the most important part of becoming a better YOU is being HEALTHY. Guys, being healthy doesn’t mean just losing weight. It means that you want to live a long and healthy life and that you want to do everything possible to stay active. I know we all have busy lifestyles and crazy schedules but everyone has enough time to be healthy. This second video discusses some things you can do to stay healthy on the go like having a planner to schedule your daily meals and exercise, or using simple substitutions in your snacks and meals that can be prepared fast when you’re in a hurry.

Here is the recipe for the yummy brunch I mentioned in this video of Avocado Toast with Sriracha and Coconut Macaroon Yogurt.

  1. Toast sourdough bread. After toasted, spread ghee on top. Mix avocado and seasoning and salt together (to taste). Spread on top of toast. Drizzle sriracha on top as desired. Set aside.
  2. For yogurt, simply mix yogurt and granola (as much as desired) together. Voila!

As I mentioned in my video, snacks are my LIFE. I love incorporating new and healthy snacks into my diet; it keeps things interesting. This combo is one of my new faves! Plumcots from Trader Joe’s (half apricot half plum) with a Honey Stinger Chocolate Waffle topped with Cocoa Glazed Cinnamon Roll Fluffbutter. OMG<3

As you guys probably know, I recently started a program called 21 Day Fix Extreme that is not only working out my body HARD CORE to improve my fitness, but is also giving me a healthy eating plan to follow as well as Shakeology. I’m in love with this whole program! I’m already seeing results and feel so much better about myself. I joined a challenge group that really makes me stay on schedule and not slack like I have in the past. If you guys are interested in learning more about this program, please send me an email to adancersplate@gmail.com 🙂 I would be more than happy to help you guys get started or continue your health and fitness journey.

Another one of my (healthy) guilty pleasures!

You are capable of so much, no matter what you strive to do or be. When you start to work on yourself, you’ll be much happier than you were when you were just settling for average. You are worth more than that. There’s only one YOU, so be the BEST.

No one else can do you better than you,
