This recipe is one of my new faves, and it has been a huge hit with my family! My boyfriend made this Sriracha sauce for me a while back and I loved it! It’s got just the right amount of sweet and spicy. He served it with chicken and rice, so I did the same! It’s a perfect combination that you will be sure to love. I love fried rice from Japanese restaurants, so I decided to do a much healthier version of that by frying my rice in coconut oil. Just as tasty as the original!

Serves: 4

Spicy Chicken:

Fried Rice:
  • 3 cups of organic rice, cooked and refrigerated in advance
  • 6 Tbs. coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. soy sauce
  • paprika to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Sweet Sriracha Sauce:

  • 2 Tbs. Sriracha sauce
  • 6 Tbs. Vegenaise (I prefer the grapeseed kind)
  • 2 tsp. Truvia brown sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • 2 tsp. organic milk
  • Teriyaki sauce for drizzling
  • Chow Mein noodles for topping
  1. Heat coconut oil for the chicken in a large non-stick pan. Add chicken and season with Flavor God seasonings and salt/pepper to taste. Add soy sauce and cook until browned. Remove from heat.
  2. Add coconut oil for rice into a large skillet. Add onion and cook until tender. Add the rice then soy sauce and mix well.
  3. Create a well in the middle of the rice and add eggs. Let eggs cook a few seconds before mixing them throughout the rice. Add paprika and salt/pepper to taste. Cook rice until slightly browned. Remove from heat.
  4. In a medium size bowl mix Sriracha sauce, Vegenaise, and milk together. Add brown sugar and mix until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
  5. To serve, add the cooked rice to a bowl, and pour a spoonful or two of the Sweet Sriracha sauce over the rice. Add chicken, then drizzle with Teriyaki sauce. Top with Chow Mein noodles for a perfect finish!
