Such a scrumptious dessert! Great for any special occasion where a sweet treat is necessary. It’s not a healthy treat, but cheat days are always a must!

  • 1  Box of yellow, butter cake mix
  • 3/4 cup of cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 – 8 ounce carton sour cream
  • 4 eggs


  • 6 tablespoons brrown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 tsp. Ground cinnamon


  • 1 heaping cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place cake mix and sugar into the large bowl. Make a “well” and pour in oil.
  3. Add the sour cream and mix slowly.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition.
  5. Spray a bundt pan with Baker’s Joy or non-stick cooking spray and pour half of the batter into the pan.
  6. Combine pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then spread mixture over batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the top of the cinnamon, pecan, sugar mixture. Place bundt pan in oven for 1 hour. In the meantime, mix icing ingredients together and refrigerate until the cake is done.
  8. Remove from oven and let sit for 10-15 minutes.  Flip out on a cake plate and let cool, then drizzle with icing.
