Such a scrumptious dessert! Great for any special occasion where a sweet treat is necessary. It’s not a healthy treat, but cheat days are always a must!
- 1 Box of yellow, butter cake mix
- 3/4 cup of cooking oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 – 8 ounce carton sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 6 tablespoons brrown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 4 tsp. Ground cinnamon
- 1 heaping cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place cake mix and sugar into the large bowl. Make a “well” and pour in oil.
Add the sour cream and mix slowly.
Add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition.
Spray a bundt pan with Baker’s Joy or non-stick cooking spray and pour half of the batter into the pan.
Combine pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then spread mixture over batter.
Pour the remaining batter over the top of the cinnamon, pecan, sugar mixture. Place bundt pan in oven for 1 hour. In the meantime, mix icing ingredients together and refrigerate until the cake is done.
Remove from oven and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Flip out on a cake plate and let cool, then drizzle with icing.
