Hello all of you cookie monsters out there! What if I told that you could enjoy cookies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?! Okay, so maybe not all in one day…but Lenny and Larry’s came up with the most delicious, sweetest, softest cookie for people who care about their health to enjoy any time of day. The Complete Cookie is Non-GMO, soy free, dairy free, kosher, no artificial sweeteners, and they are chalked full of protein and fiber! How much better can it get? Well…..it can. Not only are these cookies HUGE but they are absolutely DELICIOUS. I have 2-3 cookies a week, usually for breakfast in addition to my morning coffee. Before discovering these cookies, my diet was lacking protein, mostly because my busy schedule made it hard for me to fit it in. Now, I can just pop one of these cookies in the microwave for about 10 seconds before I go into work, and it keeps me energized, full, and allows me to get the necessary protein in my system.
Now when I first noticed the amount of calories in each cookie, I kind of freaked out because I was planning on eating it as a snack. Each cookie actually has 2 servings, so the amount of calories on the package doubles for the whole cookie. However, if you are eating the cookie as a meal in addition to a protein shake, coffee, or some other kind of drink, it is perfectly acceptable. I would not recommend the cookie as a just a snack however, because of the amount of calories.
I usually just eat these cookies plain when I’m in a hurry (which is still delicious), but there are so many ways that you can spice them up and make a gourmet treat! During Fall when I was on a big PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) kick, I made a super yummy breakfast with a Lenny and Larry’s Pumpkin cookie:
What you need:
- Heat your cookie and caramel sauce (separately) in the microwave for 25-30 seconds a piece.
- Top your cookie with 1T. of Nuts ‘N More and then drizzle with the caramel.
- Voila! Absolutely scrumptious.
This recipe was super simple but incredibly delicious!
My favorite Lenny and Larry’s Cookie is probably the Lemon Poppy Seed. It is AMAZING with a strong lemon flavor that is sweet, but not too sweet.
My other favorites include the Snickerdoodle, Coconut Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Peanut Butter, and the Birthday Cake.
These cookies are not only a great source of nutrition, but they are so good! I promise if you try them, they will become a regular appearance in your diet. Eat them plain, or top them with nut butters, fro-yo, Walden Farms syrups, whatever you choose! Pair them with coffee, a protein shake, smoothie, or simply milk!
