Drinks

One of my favorite things about attending events like baby showers, weddings, or parties is having some of that delicious and fruity punch that you can’t help but go back and get another glass of.  It’s also really fun to make if you’re throwing your own party because it always makes such a pretty addition to your centerpiece, and you know I’m all about using food as decoration. My Mom and I came up with this healthy version on a whim, and were so excited when it turned out even better than we could have predicted!

This punch is a combination of 3 simple ingredients but MAN is it tasty (aren’t those recipes the best?!) The two flavors are pineapple and grapefruit, the perfect sunrise fruits in my opinion; they’re giving me Spring vibes! I have been drinking the Grapefruit flavored Zevia Soda lately like nobody’s business, and instead of using Ginger-Ale for a typical party punch, I thought that this would be an amazing substitute.

I drink at least 1 Zevia Soda every single day, and we keep several flavors in the house at all times so that we don’t run out. It’s an obsession for sure. It’s just so awesome though to have a healthy “soda” that is 0 calories with no artificial ingredients, non-GMO, and is sweetened with Stevia. If you don’t know, Stevia is a plant that has 200X more sweetness than real sugar, but none of the calories or potentially harmful properties that are bad for our bodies. Unlike many drinks that use a form of Stevia, Zevias are not bitter, nor do they leave a weird aftertaste. PLUS, they are super fizzy! This is one of the reasons why I love them so much and it makes this recipe even more fantastic. In my opinion, drinks are just better when they’re fizzy.

This punch can literally be thrown together in a few minutes. It’s perfect for a Sunday brunch, parties, Easter gathering…..any type of warm weather occasion. A little sweet, a little sour, but 100% delicious!

Ingredients I used to make this recipe extra-yummy:

3-Ingredient Zevia Sunrise Punch

This bright and colorful punch will add a little Sunrise to your next party! The grapefruit and pineapple flavors make it the ideal drink for the warm months.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large can (46 fl. oz.) of 100% natural pineapple juice
  • 4 cans of Grapefruit Citrus flavored Zevia soda
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • grapefruit and pineapple slices (optional)
Instructions:
  1. In a large punch bowl, mix together pineapple juice and the grapefruit Zevias.
  2. Taste your mixture, and from there add sprinkles of Stevia until you reach desired sweetness.
  3. Top with grapefruit slices and add a slice of pineapple on the rim of each glass for a cute little decoration. Enjoy!

The amount of hot cocoa that I have been drinking this Christmas is a tad embarrassing. But you know what? I’m totally okay with that because my hot cocoa is actually HEALTHY for me! Yepp, that’s right. Healthy Hot Chocolate you guys; life doesn’t get much better than that. Personally, I think that adding peppermint […]

Who doesn’t want to spice things up every now and then? I am a huge fan of spicy foods, but never thought I would be a fan of spicy drinks. I have a pretty high tolerance for hot things; my boyfriend always laughs at me because I eat things that are still scorching hot straight […]

Hello everyone! It’s getting super close to Halloween, which obviously means Harry Potter marathons right?! It does for me. I have been in Harry Potter MODE since I got back from Harry Potter World at Universal Studios (which you can read about in my previous blog post A Wizard and a Muggle Take on Universal Studios.  I […]

If anyone knows me at all, they know that one of my biggest weaknesses is Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks. I could seriously have like 2 a day during Fall. They are THE FALL STAPLE. What really sucks is that Starbucks includes so many bad ingredients in all of their sauces, and they are expensive. […]

Piña Coladas have been my favorite summer drink for as long as I can remember. Combining two of my favorite flavors (pineapple and coconut) I could seriously drink one every day. Unfortunately, a scrumptious Piña Colada on the beach made at the cute little ocean-side Tiki Bar are never very healthy. I have tried many […]
