“We go together,
Like rama lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong
As shoobop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom
Chang chang changitty chang shoobop
That’s the way it should be, wha ooohhh, YEAH!”
If you are singing along with me right now, you’re my soul sister/brother. If not…..you are going to the movie store right now and renting the best Summer movie EVER. I used to watch Grease multiple times during the Summer, especially when I was in middle school and high school. It just puts you in that GREAT Summer Lovin’ mood.
This Summer I haven’t got to do the typical Summer things that I would normally do like go to the beach, hiking, laying in the sun….welcome to the adulting life right? So I am trying to make up for it in other ways. I love making special Summer treats that I can feel good about, are super easy (because who has the time to hand-churn ice cream anymore?) and perfect for that hot Summer air! I think that it doesn’t always have to be a special occasion in order to treat ourselves, nor do you have to be surrounded by a ton of people to talk you into it. If we are working out regularly and eating well on a normal basis, then HECK YES are we allowed to indulge. And guess what? This recipe isn’t even really indulging. It uses 3 simple ingredients to make a SCRUMPTIOUS treat: sparkling water, cold-pressed apricot juice, and coconut milk ice cream. DONE.
As most of you know, cold-pressed juice has been a big hit lately. Juice bars and new juice brands are flooding our social medias every single day. I actually work at a restaurant that sells cold-pressed juice, so I’m pretty familiar with the aspects of this business. What’s great about cold-pressing juice is that the fruit goes straight from the orchard, gets chopped, and then pressed in order to get optimal taste and nutrition from the fruit. In regular juicing processes, adding extreme amounts of heat and pasteurization removes a lot of the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that our body can benefit from. Especially because most of us drink juice to be healthier, we want to drink juices that are cold-pressed so that we get the best benefits. Red Jacket Orchards also use organic and biodynamic production methods to maintain an incredibly high quality of juice. Because of this, it’s absolutely delicious! They also add no sugar or other ingredients to their juice which I really love.
These Summer vibes you guys…I just love it. Recently I’ve been craving everything Summer, from the sunshine, to the beach, nights out with friends, and of course…..all the delicious Summer food. Where I’m working and in the studio a lot, I really have squeeze these other things in little by little. A lot of times […]

Sometimes you just throw a bunch of ingredients together from your kitchen and it turns out to be a super yummy, fulfilling meal that you want to eat again and again. LOVE IT. I grew up eating a lot of venison because all of the men in my family are die-hard hunters. When the Fall […]
I couldn’t be more excited to share this recipe with you guys! Introducing my first (of many) vegan (gluten/dairy-free) cheesecake! I’m not vegan, ,but my friend Glau from work is and she helped me make this AMAZING cheesecake last week that I am currently still eating every night for dessert. I’m pretty much a “follow […]
Hello everyone! I’m so excited to finally sit down and right a post for you guys. My schedule is literally jammed packed, so when I come home, all I’ve been wanting to do is sit down, drink some lemon water, and watch Netflix (for like the whole 30 minutes I’m home at night before sleep). […]
It’s been so long since I’ve had a good crepe! They are one of my favorite breakfast treats, savory or sweet (but you know I usually have to get the sweet ones). Recently I’ve really been trying to use random ingredients in my fridge and pantry to make recipes instead of going out and buying […]
Anytime I see a healthy 4-ingredient recipe on Pinterest or Instagram, I get super excited. I hate having to buy a ton of ingredients for a complicated recipe, especially with my schedule as crazy as it has been lately (and about to get even crazier). Those recipes that take 15 minutes to make and are […]
I remember my Mom trying to encourage me to eat carrot cake when I was little, and I absolutely REFUSED! The fact that people could actually eat a vegetable in a cake made me want to gag. That’s how anti-veggie I was for so long guys…it’s kind of hilarious now, especially since most carrot cakes […]
Nut butter is my go-to lately; I’m seriously putting it in everything. It’s crazy how many different things you can put it in to instantly make your breakfast/dessert taste 10X better! This week I was really craving a good doughnut for whatever reason, and found this recipe on the Peachy Palate. It looked scrumptious, so […]
